Alessandro Di Giacomo, born in 1999, considered a true prodigy of the violin, of Salerno, began studying violin at 5 years, under the guidance of his parents. At 15, he graduated with honors “cum laude” at the Conservatory of Avellino.
As a child he attended master classes with important teachers such as Massimo Marin, Christian Anzinger, Salvatore Accardo, Aldo Matassa, Alessandro Perpich, Salvatore Quaranta, Mauro Tortorelli, Marco Fiorini, Florin Paul.
He attended summer courses at the prestigious “Academies de Musique Tibor Varga” of Sion with Maestro Francesco De Angelis which is still a student.
He attended the course of violin at the “Scheherazade” Music Academy in Rome with Maestro Stefano Pagliani.
Very young, was a finalist in the selection for the EUYO orchestra.
He has participated in numerous national and international competitions obtaining important placements and scholarships. It was a finalist for the scholarship “Giorgetti Award” at Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
He has performed for important associations and giving concerts for solo violin and orchestra violin.
Currently he serves as first violin Symphony Orchestra Di Salerno Claudio Abbado. He played in Milan in 25th Match 2017, for 150 Anniversary of Arturo Toscanini, Ysaye and “Ave Maria” Bach/Gounod with Salvatore Cocciro
